MySpace Sticking To What It Does Best: Music

Myspace music

According to this article MySpace says it is “not competing with Facebook anymore. Instead, the social network (…) is redesigning itself with an entertainment focus.”

I have never been a fan of MySpace as a social tool, but I’ve always been a fan of the service they provide to musicians and music lovers. Whether being a nationally know major label band or a band or individual who has yet to play any of their songs in front of a live audience, the opportunity that anyone has to share the music they have created with millions of people over the web is a wonderful tool. Check out the article to see what the future of Myspace will be. I think the new focus could be a good move for them.
